13.1 Contractor – Lightning protection

This subclass authorizes construction work that is not the exclusive domain of electrical contractors, and relates to lightning protection installations as well as similar or related construction work.   

Additional explanations

This subclass authorizes, without exceeding the regulatory framework, construction work related to:

  • the installation of underground counterweights and the grounding of transmission lines  
  • the installation of lightning conductors

NOTE: An electrical contractor (16.0)
