3.1 Contractor – Concrete structures

This subclass authorizes construction work relating to structural cast or prefabricated concrete.   

It also authorizes construction work included in subclass 3.2 of Schedule III.   

Finally, it authorizes similar or related work.

This subclass includes construction work covered by subclass 3.2.  

This subclass authorizes, without exceeding the regulatory framework, construction work relating to:

• the assembly or installation of concrete architectural elements and framework such as:
  • canopies
  • precast concrete steps and balconies  
  • curtain walls
  • concrete cladding
  • precast slabs, columns, etc.;
• concrete formwork
• mass concrete
• concrete finishing.

NOTE: The structure contractor’s work does not include excavation work, the installation of drains, the waterproofing of foundations or connections to the sewer and waterworks systems, etc.    

NO LICENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• concrete pumping.
