When a building or part thereof is vacant for more than a month, the risk of stagnant water is higher, and the quality of the water deteriorates. For instance, there’s a greater risk of spreading bacteria, including the Legionella pneumophila. Therefore, it is important to apply these recommendations before a building’s workers and/or occupants have moved back into the building or part thereof. By doing so, you will ensure that they have access to safe water.
