Conditions of use of the contents

The users of the Web site of the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) must comply with the conditions of use defined by the Régie and with the provisions regarding the protection of intellectual property rights of the Government of Quebec. These conditions are subject to modifications at any times, so it is recommended to review these on a regular basis.

General conditions of use

All contents published by the RBQ on its Web site, that is:

• texts
• illustrations (including the Régie’s logo)
• video and audio files
• data
• publications and other official literature, such as regulations, standards and other documents

are the Government property, specifically in this case the Régie du bâtiment du Québec’s.

They can however be reproduced free of charge, provided that:

• they are not used for commercial purposes;
• they are not modified;
• the source “Régie du bâtiment du Québec” is indicated on the dissemination media.

This authorization concerns documents produced by the RBQ as well as those produced:

• by a ministry or a public body;
• by a third party having released its copyrights to the Government, or having vested to it a licence of use.

Conditions of use of the contents for commercial purposes

It is forbidden to use the contents disseminated on the RBQ’s Web site for commercial or publicity purposes without having first obtained an authorization from the RBQ. This restriction applies in particular for the illustrations (photos, graphics, tables, etc.) and for all other information literature.

The requests for authorization must be submitted to the Web team of the RBQ.

Integrity of information

The Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ):

• guarantees the integrity of the information at the precise time where it is posted, and not hereafter;
• does not warrant in any way documents, data or any other content having been modified in any fashion whatsoever, whether these have been downloaded or not.

In case of discrepancy between an official text and the content of this site, the official text shall prevail.
