Professional fees are calculated according to the method set forth by the Regulation, and are indexed each year on January 1st. It is to be noted that the indexation of professional fees for work with pressure vessels occurs each year on the 1st day of April. This indexation is in line with the increase of the Consumer Price Index.
The following documents illustrate situations for which rights or fees are payable, whether it is for the issuance, the modification or the maintenance of a licence or for the purpose of presenting a professional record.
The intervenors of several fields have annual fees to pay to the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ).
Anyone failing to comply with a section referred to below from the Building Act 
is liable to a fine, which is indexed each year on January 1st.
